Our colleague Portia, Legal Officer in our Immigration team, spoke to raise awareness of the immigration options available to victims of domestic abuse. We advise that survivors in these circumstances seek immigration legal advice to understand the options available to them.
Yesterday we attended the ESRC Festival of Social Sciences screening and discussion of REMOVED, a short but affecting animation bringing together lived experience of harm in the immigration detention system through the lens of race and gender.
