Roy Moore still isn’t conceding.
But he just released a video message in which he says this: “Abortion, sodomy, and materialism have taken the place of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

How did taking care of kids become a partisan issue? Just can’t understand this. Depressing to see how completely GOP has lost its grip on sanity. https://t.co/pVP1KKLEV2
A friend is a top guy at a major children's hospital. He says if CHIP isn't reauthorized soon, not only will working class kids start dying, but pediatric hospitals will have to cut services to EVERYONE to save $.
Meanwhile, Congress worries that billionaires need tax cuts.
This doesn't have to be one-and-done election in AL. Maybe others will hear and one opinion will change. Or maybe not, I don’t know. Just wanted to share my personal experience. /End
I used to think of "liberal" as quasi-curse word. Now that’s how I identify. Funny how ppl can change. And after watching Doug Jones win, I feel ready to speak out against ignorance & bigotry. Way past time to start, I know. Better late than never. /5
Observation 2 There are more ppl like me in AL than I previously thought. Sure, still a minority, but we’re growing in number and can’t be ignored. But we also have to speak up. 5/
Writing this from experience. I was one of them. Grew up in it. Lived it and breathed it. Still hear about it all the time. My takeaway: Evangelicals will see this election as further proof that they are persecuted for being Christians. Won’t use opportunity for soul-searching 4/
Why? Depth of self-certitude is breathtaking. Not merely convinced they should win. They co-opt religion to assure selves they’re always right. Always. This is why it makes perfect sense for Moore not to concede election. 3/
Observation 1 Moore lost but he or people like him will be back. Might nominate someone slightly less obviously disgusting, but they *will* be back. Their line of thinking is deeply entrenched in AL & elsewhere. Not going away this easily 2/
