Earlier, I did my first livetweet coverage, which is essentially tweeting about what's happening in an event.
Came into the event nervous, but I told myself that I had nothing to lose.
People would understand if I messed up
and I did
I recovered
and I did great
Just a little update
Started playing the guitar. I found that it helps me lessen my screentime, and just feel more productive.
I also started writing more creatively, like poems.
I'll try to share some time.
For now, I'll try to rebuild the habit of writing online.
I feel like I wasted a lot of my initial efforts by stopping writing
But, I also learned a lot more, and I found a new approach in life
Trying to be like other writers is really not for me
Do things your way, if it's that meaningful to you
You'll be happier
The real lessons in life, you will get from people.
I embodied this mindset for a long time now.
But, it never really hit me how true this statement is.
I've changed so much, and a lot of it is thanks to my university.
But, most of the credit is to the people I've met.
College has been amazing so far.
Wonderful friends around me have taught me many valuable lessons.
Sureound yourself with people and you'll never stop learning.
Lately, I learn how to just accept help of all kinds, and to heal.
Recently I've been confused whether I love writing or not.
Unlike working out and becoming a doctor, I don't feel the desire to do it in my bones.
I realize I've been too hung up on the question, when I could just write.
Whenever I do, I realize I do love writing.
What burned me out was moving to satisfy other people.
I replied, I monitored other people's accounts, but that's not what I want. I don't want to do marketing.
I want to write, and that's it.
It's not optimal for growth, but it's how I can enjoy the process.
I finished a special hard writing commission today.
What's special about it is I didn't back away from it.
I always abandoned or stayed away from hard writing gigs,
but I saw this one true.
For the longest time I felt like my writing is cowardly and cheap
not anymore.
I've been too focused on being a successful brand and what other people think of me
that I lost site of what I really want to do.
I want to write.
I got sucked into marketing and contacting people to get more followers.
From now on, I'll just write, and have fun.
Hey everybody!
Had to take a short break *again*
I managed my college, took some rest, and figured out some internal questions like
why do I write and why do I do this
Also, I hit my 100kg deadlift OR earlier
looking forward to starting again!
Life kicked me down and said "this isn't for you.'
And my mind agreed.
When that happens, you can choose to just rest and relax.
But make sure you come back and you come back strong.
Remind yourself why the hell you're doing this in the first place.
I want to succeed!
Been gone for about 2 weeks
Had a really bad burnout, combined with the stress from completing college preparations
Was stuck in a bad rut, but I'm slowly reclaiming my life!
Looking forward to being more consistent again!
Just a bit of an addition
thanks to everybody who still interacts with me even if I can't interact as much
been resting and busy lately
Will be coming back soon!
Reached a PR today
65KG for 2 reps on my squat @ 65kg bodyweight
Raised my zercher deadlift from 30 to 45kg as well
Day 22 was all about the gains ๐๏ธ
Today was spent very productively
I worked on an order
I wrote on Quora
I helped with the laundry
I read my books again
Started studying Anatomy
I did mobility routines
And overall, I just started reclaiming my habits
This was Day 21
I haven't been on X a lot lately.
I just have a lot of things I need to attend to.
Nonetheless, I do my best to show up everyday, even if it's just to do my daily updates.
The important part is that you show up everyday.
Remember that.
