आज सिलीगुड़ी में पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्यमंत्री श्री @SuvenduWB जी तथा वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ सिलीगुड़ी कॉरिडोर की सुरक्षा पर समीक्षा बैठक की।

मोदी सरकार चतुष्कोणीय सुरक्षा ग्रिड के माध्यम से सिलीगुड़ी कॉरिडोर को अभेद्य बना रही है। बैठक में जनसांख्यिकीय बदलाव और सीमा से संबंधित विषयों पर विस्तार से चर्चा हुई। सिलीगुड़ी कॉरिडोर को अतिक्रमण मुक्त रखने और यहां अवैध घुसपैठ रोकने के लिए हर संभव कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं।

साथ ही, पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार कॉरिडोर में सिविल डिफेंस और होम गार्ड्स की व्यवस्था को सुदृढ़ करेगी, जिससे स्थानीय स्तर पर सुरक्षा तंत्र और मजबूत होगा तथा किसी भी आपात स्थिति से निपटने की तत्परता बढ़ेगी।

আজ শিলিগুড়িতে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী শ্রী শুভেন্দু অধিকারী মহাশয় এবং অন্যান্য আধিকারিকদের সঙ্গে শিলিগুড়ি করিডরের নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে পর্যালোচনা বৈঠক করলাম।
মোদী সরকার চতুষ্কোণীয় নিরাপত্তা গ্রিডের মাধ্যমে শিলিগুড়ি করিডরকে অভেদ্য করে তুলছে। বৈঠকে জনবিন্যাসের পরিবর্তন এবং সীমান্ত-সংক্রান্ত বিভিন্ন বিষয় নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হয়েছে। শিলিগুড়ি করিডরকে দখলমুক্ত রাখা এবং এখানে অবৈধ অনুপ্রবেশ রুখতে সমস্ত প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হচ্ছে।
পাশাপাশি, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার করিডরে সিভিল ডিফেন্স ও হোম গার্ড ব্যবস্থাকে আরও শক্তিশালী করবে। এর ফলে স্থানীয় স্তরে নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা আরও মজবুত হবে এবং যেকোনও জরুরি পরিস্থিতি মোকাবিলায় প্রস্তুতিও বাড়বে।

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has constituted a high-level Committee under the chairmanship of former Deputy National Security Advisor and Interlocutor Shri Pankaj Kumar Singh to prepare the comprehensive framework for a Permanent Political Solution with regards to Gorkha issues under the aegis of Constitution of India.

This decisive step represents a major and long-awaited breakthrough in resolving this critical pending matter.

Discussed the long-pending aspirations and genuine concerns of the Gorkha people and a practical roadmap forward. Reiterated that under the leadership of PM Modi Ji, the government is firmly committed to addressing these issues. Further assured them that every possible effort will be made to address their legitimate aspirations within the framework of the Constitution.

Today, on 22nd August 2026, the Bharatiya Janata Party passed an important resolution regarding the honour and protection of the historical legacy of Vande Mataram.

The Bharatiya Janata Party strongly condemns and unequivocally opposes the decision taken by the Congress Working Committee on 19th August 2026 to reaffirm its 1937 resolution and restrict the singing of Vande Mataram to its first two stanzas at Congress programmes.

The Bharatiya Janata Party regards Vande Mataram as the National Song of Bharat, an expression of reverence for Bharat Mata, a mantra of the freedom struggle and an immortal symbol of India’s national consciousness.

The Bharatiya Janata Party therefore resolves:

1. To strongly condemn and unequivocally oppose the Congress Working Committee’s decision of 19th August 2026 to reaffirm its 1937 resolution and restrict Vande Mataram to its first two stanzas at Congress programmes.

2. To uphold the honour, dignity, legacy and national status of the complete Vande Mataram as the National Song of Bharat and as an immortal symbol of India’s national consciousness and freedom struggle.

3. To affirm the constitutional and statutory status of Vande Mataram as established by the Constituent Assembly’s 1950 pronouncement and reinforced by Parliament’s 2026 amendment extending statutory protection to the National Song equivalent to that accorded to the National Anthem.

4. To reject every attempt to subordinate the National Song to communal pressure, political appeasement or narrow vote-bank considerations.

5. To remind the Congress that a resolution of its Working Committee cannot override the constitutional institutions or laws of the Republic of India, and that a political compromise of 1937 cannot be elevated above the constitutional settlement of 1950 and legislation enacted by Parliament in 2026.

6. To expose before the people of Bharat the historical and political context in which the truncation of Vande Mataram took place, including the objections raised by the Muslim League and the subsequent politics of communal and separatist demands.

7. To recall and disseminate Mahatma Gandhi’s own testimony that Vande Mataram had become an “anti-imperialist cry” and that he associated it with “the purest national spirit”, demonstrating its larger national meaning beyond the literary or religious context of particular stanzas.

8. To undertake a nationwide campaign through BJP Karyakartas to take the history, meaning, national significance and glorious legacy of Vande Mataram to every corner of Bharat.

9. To educate and mobilise the people, especially the younger generation, so that the complete six-stanza National Song and its history are not forgotten and future generations understand the sacrifices, struggles and patriotic awakening with which Vande Mataram is inseparably associated.

10. To affirm that no compromise can be accepted with the honour and legacy of Vande Mataram for political convenience or appeasement.

This is not merely a matter concerning a political party. It concerns the honour of Bharat and the legacy of countless patriots who sacrificed for the freedom of the nation.

The BJP calls upon every citizen to remember that the words Vande Mataram were once powerful enough to frighten an empire. The British sought to suppress them because they awakened resistance. Generations of Indians carried them as a mantra of freedom, sacrifice and national pride.

That legacy cannot be reduced to the calculations of contemporary vote-bank politics.

The same 'Vande Mataram' that echoed as the call for freedom in 1947 will resound as the supreme chant for a 'Developed India @ 2047’ under the vision of Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji.

भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने आज 22 अगस्त 2026 को वंदे मातरम् के सम्मान और उसकी ऐतिहासिक विरासत की रक्षा के संबंध में एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रस्ताव पारित किया।

भारतीय जनता पार्टी 19 अगस्त 2026 को कांग्रेस कार्यसमिति द्वारा 1937 के अपने प्रस्ताव को पुनः स्वीकार करते हुए कांग्रेस के कार्यक्रमों में ‘वन्दे मातरम्’ के केवल प्रथम दो पदों के गायन को सीमित करने के निर्णय की कड़ी निंदा और स्पष्ट शब्दों में विरोध करती है।

भाजपा वन्दे मातरम् को भारत का राष्ट्रीय गीत, भारत माता के प्रति श्रद्धा की अभिव्यक्ति, स्वतंत्रता संग्राम का मंत्र और भारत की राष्ट्रीय चेतना का अमर प्रतीक मानती है।

अतः भारतीय जनता पार्टी संकल्प करती है:

1. 19 अगस्त 2026 को कांग्रेस कार्यसमिति द्वारा 1937 के प्रस्ताव को दोहराते हुए वन्दे मातरम् के प्रथम दो पदों तक गायन सीमित करने के निर्णय की कड़ी निंदा और स्पष्ट विरोध करेगी।

2. पूर्ण वन्दे मातरम् के सम्मान, गरिमा, विरासत और राष्ट्रीय स्वरूप की रक्षा करेगी, इसे भारत का राष्ट्रीय गीत, राष्ट्रीय चेतना का अमर प्रतीक और स्वतंत्रता संग्राम की गौरवशाली विरासत मानेगी।

3. 1950 में संविधान सभा की घोषणा तथा 2026 में संसद द्वारा राष्ट्रीय गीत को जन गण मन के समान वैधानिक संरक्षण प्रदान किए जाने से स्थापित स्थिति की दृढ़ता से पुष्टि करेगी।

4. राष्ट्रीय गीत को सांप्रदायिक दबाव, राजनीतिक तुष्टीकरण अथवा संकीर्ण वोट-बैंक की राजनीति के अधीन करने के हर प्रयास का विरोध करेगी।

5. कांग्रेस को स्मरण कराएगी कि उसकी कार्यसमिति का कोई प्रस्ताव भारत के संवैधानिक संस्थानों और संसद द्वारा बनाए गए कानूनों से ऊपर नहीं हो सकता। 1937 का राजनीतिक समझौता 1950 के संवैधानिक निर्णय और 2026 में संसद द्वारा बनाए गए कानून से ऊपर नहीं रखा जा सकता।

6. जनता के सामने उस ऐतिहासिक और राजनीतिक संदर्भ को उजागर करेगी, जिसमें वन्दे मातरम् के गायन को सीमित किया गया था, जिसमें मुस्लिम लीग की आपत्तियां तथा बाद में बढ़ती सांप्रदायिक और अलगाववादी मांगों की राजनीति शामिल थी।

7. महात्मा गांधी के उस ऐतिहासिक कथन को जन-जन तक पहुंचाएगी, जिसमें उन्होंने वन्दे मातरम् को “साम्राज्यवाद-विरोधी नारा” और “शुद्धतम राष्ट्रीय भावना” से जुड़ा हुआ बताया था।

8. भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं के माध्यम से देशव्यापी अभियान चलाएगी, जिसके अंतर्गत वन्दे मातरम् का इतिहास, अर्थ, राष्ट्रीय महत्व और गौरवशाली विरासत भारत के हर कोने तक पहुंचाई जाएगी।

9. विशेषकर युवा पीढ़ी के बीच जागरूकता का अभियान चलाया जाएगा, ताकि छह पदों वाले पूर्ण राष्ट्रीय गीत और उसके इतिहास को विस्मृति में न जाने दिया जाए तथा आने वाली पीढ़ियां समझ सकें कि वन्दे मातरम् के साथ भारत की स्वतंत्रता, संघर्ष, बलिदान और राष्ट्र-जागरण की कितनी गहरी स्मृतियां जुड़ी हैं।

10. राजनीतिक सुविधा या तुष्टीकरण के लिए वन्दे मातरम् के सम्मान और विरासत से किसी भी प्रकार का समझौता स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा।

यह केवल किसी राजनीतिक दल से जुड़ा विषय नहीं है। यह भारत के सम्मान और उन असंख्य देशभक्तों की विरासत का प्रश्न है, जिन्होंने राष्ट्र की स्वतंत्रता के लिए अपना सर्वस्व न्योछावर कर दिया।

भारतीय जनता पार्टी देशवासियों से आह्वान करती है कि वे स्मरण रखें - वन्दे मातरम् के शब्द कभी इतने शक्तिशाली थे कि एक साम्राज्य उनसे भयभीत हो उठा था। अंग्रेजों ने इन्हें दबाने का प्रयास इसलिए किया क्योंकि इन शब्दों ने प्रतिरोध की चेतना जगाई थी। पीढ़ियों के भारतीयों ने इन्हें स्वतंत्रता, बलिदान और राष्ट्रगौरव के मंत्र के रूप में अपनाया।

इस विरासत को आज की वोट-बैंक राजनीति की गणित में सीमित नहीं किया जा सकता।

1947 में भारत की स्वतंत्रता का जयघोष 'वंदे मातरम्' था, और आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के नेतृत्व में 2047 के 'विकसित भारत' का महाघोष भी 'वंदे मातरम्' ही होगा।
