@Aaron__Burch and evocative of a painful moment in life! i’m older than the protagonist of this story, though not by much, but i think this standing on the diving board and seeing all that really exists is a hard moment but a perpetual one.
@Aaron__Burch thank you for responding. i find the answer very provocative. for example, too much detail is difficult for me to imagine as a critique of writing. but i will try to understand.
