Take coffee's warmth as company
Raindrops dance on window panes
They create a soothing melody
Pages turn as the world outside
is shrouded in a gentle mist

THIRST AKA LONGING

Do you know what longing is, O child?
Longing is to stay silent when dying to speak
Longing is a thirst that glues the tongue
to the roof of the mouth
And if you ask,
what is the worst of thirst aka longing?
It is being unable to drink
while standing right beside the water
Just like remaining parched in the middle of the sea
Or, though your beloved is merely two steps away
Being unable to touch them, unable to speak
And remaining light-years apart

Moon and stars mere decorations above

What problem dissolves when a heart stops?
For gold or pride or a passing spark
You trade your soul for a lifelong dark
You strike a shade to demand the light
But lose your eyes to eternal night.
No blood can buy a quiet peace
By killing, your own self ceases.
