When I was single, random men I didn’t know used to message me on fb pictures of their 🍆 , didn’t say hi or anything just straight to showing me their junk. Even videos sometimes.
So after a while of this I started looking at their profiles and trying to find family members.. I would screen shot the message and send it to their mother if I could find her, and ask her to get her son in line.

& before anyone says how awful it was to do that, it’s awful for people to show me their male anatomy when I didn’t ask to see it. I have no regrets. Hopefully they’ve stopped doing that. No random woman wants to be dm’d your wiener pics.. I promise.

Your grandparents planned road trips like military operations. Ask them. For thirty years, Black families could not drive across America without a guidebook telling them which towns would kill them.

A postal worker in Harlem wrote it. The Negro Motorist Green Book.

Victor Hugo Green started it in 1936 as a list of places in New York that would serve Black customers. Within a few years it covered the country, then Bermuda, Mexico and Canada.

What it actually was, beneath the cheerful cover: a survival manual. Which garages would sell you petrol. Which hotels would give you a room.

Which restaurants had a back window. Which towns you had to be out of before the sun went down.

He built it from letters sent in by Black postal workers across the country — a network of people who knew every route in America and had all driven them.

At its height it was used by around two million people a year.

Families packed food for the whole journey because they could not rely on being served. Children were told to use the bathroom before leaving because there might not be another chance for three hundred miles.

Green wrote in an early edition that there would come a day when the guide would no longer be needed, and that this was the day he was working toward.

The last edition came out in 1967, three years after the Civil Rights Act. He did not live to see it. He died in 1960.

Walmart manager confirms the store is changing prices of items from the time you pick them up to the time you get to the register

“So me and my son went to Walmart to pick up some butter and some other items for my baking, and I grabbed my stuff, and I'm very aware of prices because of how high stuff is. And I go to check out and I start noticing that my prices are higher, and I'm like, okay.

So I call the manager over And he comes over and he says, uh, you know, the prices can change from the time you leave the area to the time you get to the register because the computer updates”

The manager confirms that just within that couple minutes they’re allowed to change the price

According to Walmart they are implementing these digital pricing tags throughout all their stores and the prices can change. The CEO made a statement saying the prices will change but it’s by item, not person. He also said the price changes are supposed to be done outside of customer hours

But this is a big issue for many people because with these tags the items can be changed mid-day or based on demand. Yes they’re the same price for everyone but that’s still dynamic pricing

This isn’t a conspiracy theory wither, Walmart has been sued by California for issues with pricing like this more than once. So the CEO is saying one thing but what people are seeing in the stores, what their employees are saying and what lawsuits are showing is the opposite
