@OLBGVikingDave @TucoBenedict@PowellJfpracing @lcarrol08242377 @jamesknight@Ruby_Walsh@jamesaknight@barrysbismark Have a lovely stat for you.
In the last 15 years (2003-2017) there has been 31400 with odds of 1.01-2.00, 56% of those runners have won. Compared to 63817 with odds of 101.00+ with a win percentage of 0.2%
I was comparing 2 jockeys whose stats differ regarding big priced winners
@TucoBenedict@PowellJfpracing @lcarrol08242377 @jamesknight@Ruby_Walsh@jamesaknight If the horse had a chance of winning according to the trainer AP would happily ride no matter the odds, Ruby rides odds on faves that get turned over quite frequently and has done for a long time
@RadioEmmet@kevinblake2011 Ruby gives the horse too much to do the majority of the time. He will very rarely be a front runner he'll sit off the pace and go through the gears, he's in 5th gear at the last, classy when it comes off but not all horses can cope with that style of running and pressure
@PowellJfpracing @lcarrol08242377 @jamesknight@Ruby_Walsh@jamesaknight AP rode 4358 winners, Ruby has not reached 3000 winners, that's a bit rude and disrespectful to put them as the same. AP is the best jumps jockey there has ever been, Ruby is not in the same league or on the same level 👍
Three Cs needed to be up with the pace, had the perfect stall to be breaking quickly, another disappointing ride. Will move on from today and start looking at Southwell tomorrow
