Have you ever noticed how news often shapes our understanding of the world? While news can provide valuable information, it's important to remember that our knowledge should be well-rounded and consider multiple perspectives. Recently, I had the opportunity to engage in face-to-face conversations with some wonderful Ukrainians. It was fascinating to discover that despite our geographical differences, we shared common roots and a deep sense of connection. This experience made me realize that there might be untold truths, hidden beneath the surface, which we have yet to uncover. It's intriguing to consider the possibility that certain countries may have played a role in promoting our separation. Let us remain open-minded and strive to uncover the authentic truths that lie beyond what is commonly known.
I anticipated this particular inquiry. A decade ago, I ventured to this place in pursuit of a career. In our modern era, it is customary to reside in a location of one's choosing. Numerous individuals from diverse nations have made this place their home, and no one questions their decision to not return to their country of origin. It is my fervent hope that we can cultivate greater compassion and understanding towards one another. To pose such a question seems rather simplistic. I have never expressed any discontent towards Japan nor a longing for Russia. Naturally, I do miss my parents and relatives, but as a mother to a seven-month-old child, embarking on a journey, particularly to my hometown Vladivostok, which lacks direct flights, presents significant challenges.
I wholeheartedly concur with Elon Musk! It is imperative that we engage in negotiations!
As a Russian residing in Japan for over a decade, I have cultivated numerous friendships with individuals hailing from Ukraine. Though I cannot claim to possess the absolute truth, I have taken the initiative to cautiously inquire with some individuals from Donbas and Donetsk, and their response was incredulous: "Are you out of your mind? Russia protected us!"
The current state of affairs in our world remains a mystery, with no one possessing a definitive understanding. Nevertheless, throughout history, we have been akin to brothers and sisters, sharing a common language. Many Ukrainians reside in Russia, and likewise, there are numerous Russians living in Ukraine. It is disheartening to witness the turmoil that has engulfed our nations. The leaders bear the responsibility for this chaotic situation.
