Important to me:
US Constitution
Free speech w/o gov censorship
Lawful demonstrations/marches
Proof of citizenship to vote
Closely monitored elections with severe punishment for all election subversion
Non-weaponized, non-partisan DOJ and justice system. Crimes should be investigated, NOT people investigated to find crimes (especially political opponents). The United States must not devolve into a banana republic! The highest standards of unbiased impartiality, fair/consistent application of all laws and punishments, and professional ethical conduct MUST be strictly enforced and maintained by everyone in the judicial system.
Right to bear arms and defense
Legal immigration and strong borders; the dangers from unscreened, illegal immigrants should be addressed and minimized. Isn’t this obvious?
Marriage b/w consenting adults (whatever sexual orientation; love is the only important factor as far as I’m concerned)
Only XX in female sports
All literature allowed in libraries-but no graphic nudity for minors
Adults dressing however they want (without explicit nudity in public areas open to minors)
Adults doing whatever they want to their own bodies (without causing physical harm to others)
No surgical/hormonal modifications to a minor’s sexuality (unless an urgent physical medical necessity) - children are not mentally mature enough to legally consent to these life altering changes. Non-consent = the rape of their futures. Emancipated minors, able to legally consent, are exempted, but should be counseled to reconsider or delay such extreme permanent measures. How is this not obvious? Shame on all medical “professionals” assisting in the rape of these children. Shame on all “educators” and “parents” promoting such rape of their students and children.
Abortion as determined by each state (I think SCOTUS made the Constitutionally correct decision), but I would support a constitutional amendment along the lines of allowing abortion until a fetus is viable outside the womb and/or prohibiting abortion after a fetus is viable outside the womb (except for a mother’s physical safety or when the fetus has serious abnormal development). I think an amendment of this sort would be a reasonable compromise, reducing anger and friction between Americans. Seems reasonable to me that a fetus with XX chromosomes, which is viable outside the womb, should be considered to be a helpless female human with Constitutional rights (shouldn’t her body also have a choice even if she can’t yet speak it, with the choice to live understood to be an almost universal one?)
I don’t “believe in science”. Science is not a religion, it is a method of making sense of our universe. Conflicting ideas are necessary and should never be censored. Analyzing, confirming, disproving, explaining, persuading, theorizing, and hypothesizing are how science progresses. The best ideas will dominate due to superiority rather than due to the suppression of other ideas.
Anyway, those are some of my thoughts. I welcome different perspectives and discourse. Persuasive, logical, rational arguments are interesting to me. Hate and name calling doesn’t offend me, but also doesn’t interest me. Abrasive humor may make me chuckle though. If you must be rude, at least try to also be funny!
If I follow someone it does not mean I support them. I try to keep an open, empathetic, curious and changeable mind.

@mnd233445 Here’s one way to figure it out. Although anyone who can make sense of my scribbles likely had no problem getting the answer, maybe this will help someone. Finding similar triangles often makes this type of problem easier. (diagram is the top left quarter of the given image):
@TrumpsHurricane Looks delicious!
I’d call it medium. Perhaps slightly to the rare side of medium, but maybe it just looks that way because it was reverse seared/sous vide so its “mediumness” is closer to the surface than usually results from more standard cooking methods.
@SgtPepperNZ@tommy_marion@JPSingh1338338@AlexHonnold@netflix I get what you’re saying. There’s risk just driving around town. To me, the difference is the certainty of death from a big fall while free soloing versus the possibility of injuries in the mix doing other things. “Days since last accident” tallies inevitably go back to zero.
