BREAKING
Canada LOST 110K jobs in August & September.
Unemployment is the second HIGHEST in the G7.
Labour participation is the WORST in 30 years.
Carney promised the strongest economy in the G7—he's delivered the WEAKEST.
Carney's rhetoric NEVER matches reality.
Canada lost 68,300 jobs in September, and the unemployment rate has climbed to 6.5%. Young Canadians are being hit particularly hard, with youth employment falling by 48,000.
Behind these numbers are Canadians struggling to find work, families worried about their future, and young people wondering whether they will ever get ahead.
Canadians deserve an economy where hard work leads to good opportunity not one where finding a good-paying job is harder than ever.
@MarkJCarney More money from Canadians funneled to Brookfield. Let us keep our money and the government will NOT have to bail out the people..... You're a scam artist fraud. Screw you...

@AndrewLawton They don't want to shut down things that eliminate more Canadian people like this and MAID.... then they get to keep more money for themselves.
Carney is setting up a system where the government controls more and more of the economy.
This always leads to terrible results.
Less economic freedom means less competition, which leads to higher prices and taxpayer subsidies.
When companies have to win special favours from politicians, you pay the consequences.
The system Carney is building has failed everywhere it’s been tried.
Mark Carney promised everyone he would make the government 'Buy Canadian.' All talk. No results.
But instead, his Liberal government is sending $7.8 billion Canadian tax dollars to American companies.
It is all an illusion.
Maybe you could instead apologize to those workers, businesses and those feeling the economic failure as a result of your inability to protect and secure their livelihoods by making Canada investable and competitive.
That would be nice
Canadian jobs are being lost.
If you want to stand up for Canadian jobs then get back to the bargaining table and get a good deal.
What we have now is not working.
@brianlilley Carney is 100% wrong on Stelco.... They didn't let down their workers... Carney let down Canadian business not stepping up and properly negotiate the deal with the USA. His policies are detrimental to Canadian business. He is the one causing them to be unable to compete.
