He was fifteen, and he did not look away when a child was taken from a front yard.

In 2013 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Temar Boggs learned that five-year-old Jocelyn Rojas had been snatched from her home. He got on his bicycle with a friend, saw a car that did not belong, and followed it through the neighborhood for nearly fifteen minutes.

The driver stopped and let the girl out. She ran to Temar and said she wanted her mother.

Police later arrested a suspect. Jocelyn went home to her family.

One teenager, one bicycle, and a chase that lasted a quarter of an hour brought a child back alive.

This is Carl.  Carl is an honorably discharged Army Ranger, an E-6 who served 17 years, with 100% service related disabilities. Additionally, Carl & his wife have been fighting their way thru the battlefield he brought home with him, via his severe PTSD.  Recently their rental home burned down, leaving them with nothing, but an opportunity to start over.

The VA Counselor tells us that Carl has agreed to go to the Camp Program, to address his issues, but he wants to know his wife has a safe place to land, while he is in treatment.

Thomas (the VA Counselor) has assisted them in securing a lease.  They will need $3000 to cover deposit, first, and last month rent.

24-year-old Anthony Omari single-handedly fought off six machete-wielding armed intruders to protect 37 sleeping orphans at the Faraja Children's Home in Ngong, Kenya, an orphanage he ran with his mother, Martha Bosire.

It was the fourth break-in that month. When Omari woke up to find the thieves in his bedroom, he grabbed a hammer he kept under his bed and charged at them, driving the group outside. As he turned back to calm the frightened children, one of the attackers struck him across the face with a machete.

Despite the devastating wound, Omari managed to lock the front door before collapsing. He required 11 stitches and was left with a prominent scar running from his forehead down his cheek. After just two days in the hospital, he returned to the orphanage, refusing to leave the children vulnerable any longer.

The story went viral after a Reddit post appealed for help. In a remarkable outpouring of generosity, more than 3,600 donors from all 50 U.S. states and 46 countries raised over $80,000. The funds were used to install a new security fence, hire guards, buy proper beds (the children had been sleeping on the floor), and cover other essential needs.

Today, Anthony Omari holds a civil engineering degree, runs his own construction company, and continues to regularly visit and support the children at Faraja Children’s Home.

When I had my heart attack 6 years ago - I got my CAC score and I was shocked. It was over 1000.

Most people who hear that number assume I should be on maximum medication, in and out of hospitals, or dead.

I am 58. My metabolic age is 44. My body fat is 10.8%. My fasting insulin is 2.8. My hs-CRP is under 0.5. My resting heart rate is 57. My blood pressure is 112/62. I take zero pharmaceutical drugs.

A CAC score over 1000 and I am healthier than most 40 year olds.

How is that possible?

Because the score tells you where you have been. It does not tell you where you are going.

A Texas woman was slowly losing herself to Alzheimer's. Brain scans showed 9 spots of plaque tied to the disease.

…but after an experimental clinical trial, her daughter says those scans are now COMPLETELY CLEAN!!!

She says she even got her memory back… AND married her JUNIOR-HIGH SWEETHEART!!! ❤️

Her name is Gail Youngdale.

She was diagnosed back in 2018.

Her mom had passed away with Alzheimer's, and her own kids started noticing the same signs in her.

Then she enrolled in a clinical trial in Dallas and started an antibody drug called lecanemab, brand name Leqembi.

It works by clearing the sticky amyloid plaque that builds up in the brains of Alzheimer's patients.

And in Gail's case, her family says the results have been remarkable.

"She had 9 different spots of amyloid plaque in her brain," said her daughter and caretaker, Teri. "She doesn't have any plaque at all anymore, and they're just not seeing the plaque beginning to build up again."

And Gail, in her own words:

"I don't have all of my memory back, but most of it."

Now, her family is careful, and honest, about what this is and isn't.

"We have something that helps with symptoms, but we don't have a cure yet," Teri said.

There is no cure for Alzheimer's. Not yet. Gail is one woman, one story. But it's a story of real hope, and that's why she's now the face of a national awareness campaign for World Alzheimer's Month.

Gail got a whole second chance at life.

Her name is going to be Youngdale for only a little longer, because Gail just got MARRIED.

She and a man named Phil Mercer met all the way back in junior high. They never dated. But once, when she needed an escort to a school dance, she asked him.

"When I needed an escort and asked him, he didn't hesitate."

Then life happened. About 50 years went by. They both married other people. And they both, eventually, lost their spouses.

Then they crossed paths again… at their high school reunion.

"That night at the reunion, Gail kissed me," Phil said, and the two of them just laughed.

He proposed, and this past Sunday, they celebrated their FIRST wedding anniversary.

"He's learning how to cook, and I'm learning how to step away from the kitchen. He's a really good cook."

(For the record, Gail has a degree in home economics. So coming from her, that's the highest praise there is.)

A woman who was losing herself to the cruelest disease there is… now has clean scans, most of her memory, and her junior high sweetheart.
