@FastTrack550 That was the start of their streak, not counting 86 and 87 when they missed,of first round losses. The reason Mayday was such a huge deal.
@McDanielsSports@buffalocharging@PGreggy Getting access to the arena in Cleveland would be tough unless Dan Gilbert is involved. I feel like Cincinnati is perfect for the NLL. They already support their ECHL team well so I think the NLL can work.
@StephenShaw91@SwampAss_Mitch@AdamLeviLAX I believe the issue was that they called it no goal on the field and you could not see Mackay's foot in a replay. Even though it was 100% a goal.
@CoachLeo_ Yeah they confused me as well. I gave them a listen after hearing about them all the time and their music was fine, but they didn't blow me away. I'm also confused by how popular the Deftones are all of a sudden.
@BuffOnTheBrain Sabres have mostly been on WGR in their history, but there were a few other stations over the years that carried them. https://t.co/4yGrl4RryL
@headforthehews@Schopptalk Yeah I don't know why more people are making this point. If you look at the available tix later in the season there are a ton for sale directly from the Sabres.
They came in a variety of colors and styles over the years, but I have always been a huge fan of the Yorkville and other brand helmet wrist bands. Which were a big part of the 1980s and 90s football uniform aesthetic. Who else had some as a kid?
November 14, 1998 the Tennessee Oilers announced that they would play as the Titans starting in 1999. Initially many were bewildered by the choice, but it seemingly grew on the local fans as the years went by. Other finalists were the Pioneers and Tornadoes, with Copperheads and Stars also given some thought. I think the biggest issue with the Titans is it was always hard to depict the name in logo form.
@AlexDonno Perfect opportunity to get a Canes jersey with my last name on it without committing a jersey foul. I could also go with Tony Cline Sr., but I never saw him play for Miami.
