@jk_rowling you are literally a disgrace. You had a great story initially with the worst possible ending and I truly hope the hate that you spread during your fixation on the trans community comes back at you a million times over.
@jk_rowling Why are you so obsessed with this? You have proven yourself to be both a great writer and a terrible human being. What a legacy you are leaving.
Was the driver's conduct appropriate? No. Was the response of the officer a measured and justified use of force? Absolutely not. He needs to be charged.

@AnnCoulter really nice dirty delete but it wasn't fast enough and now even your own people (at least the ones with even an ounce of humanity) think you are disgusting. Well done.
BREAKING: Popular billionaire Mark Cuban gives a powerful endorsement of President Joe Biden for reelection in 2024 and uses the opportunity to brutally torch Donald Trump.
Cuban is basically the anti-Elon Musk at this point...
"If they were having his last wake, and it was him versus Trump, and he was being given last rites, I would still vote for Joe Biden," said Cuban during a visit to the White House.
The trip was part of his concerted effort to lower prescription drug prices. He participated in a roundtable on the topic, representing his Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Co.
Biden has had historic success on this front and signed legislation that capped insult costs at $35 a month for Medicare recipients — a life-changing and even lifesaving change for many.
Republicans on the other hand have zero interest in lowering drug prices because they are bought and paid for by pharmaceutical companies.
Cuban is right to endorse Joe Biden!

On September 25, 2000, 19-year-old Kevin Hines attempted to end his own life by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. Plunging over 220 feet at a speed of 75 miles per hour, he hit the water below, shattering three of his vertebrae and narrowly missing severing his spine by two millimeters. Despite the odds, he miraculously survived the impact.
Upon realizing he was still alive, an intense will to live surged within him. Yet, the weight of his clothes continuously pulled him beneath the surface of San Francisco Bay. For what seemed like an eternity, he struggled to resurface briefly, gasping for air, just enough to hold on to life.
Suddenly, he felt an unusual force from below lifting him above the water's surface, where he remained until the Coast Guard arrived. It was only later that he discovered the mysterious presence keeping him afloat: a sea lion had been supporting his body until the rescue boat arrived, as eyewitnesses had observed.
His story gained major media coverage and he has since become a motivational speaker and advocate for suicide prevention.

BREAKING: Michele Obama delivers a deeply moving and powerful response to the Republican-controlled Supreme Court's decision to outlaw affirmative action in university admission considerations.
Mrs. Obama, who is a graduate of both Princeton and Harvard, stated that she was "one of the few Black students" on her campus and she was "proud of getting into such a respected school" because she knew that she had "worked hard for it."
Even so, she "sometimes wondered" if there were people who assumed that she was only there because of affirmation action.
"It was a shadow that students like me couldn’t shake, whether those doubts came from the outside or inside our own minds," said Mrs. Obama.
"But the fact is this: I belonged. And semester after semester, decade after decade, for more than half a century, countless students like me showed they belonged, too," she went on.
She pointed out that it "wasn't just the kids of color who benefitted" from a system with affirmative action because it meant that students would encounter perspectives they had never heard before, have their assumptions challenged, and grow their hearts and minds.
The former First Lady then destroyed the Republican narrative that affirmative action creates an unfair playing field for White Americans.
She stated that there are countless other forms of "special consideration" that factor into admissions because some applicants have parents who attended the same university, others can afford coaches who help them strengthen their athletic talents, and others go to expensive high schools with tutors and test prep.
"We don't usually question if those students belong. So often, we just accept that money, power, and privilege are perfectly justifiable forms of affirmative action, while kids growing up like I did are expected to compete when the ground is anything but level," she said.
She ended by saying that this ruling is a "reminder that we've got to do the work not just to enact policies that reflect our values of equity and fairness, but to truly make those values real in all of our schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods."
Well f*cking said.

@GinoMurgolo@CBSPhiladelphia "Unapologetically American" is all anyone needs to know about you. You are also unapologetically ignorant, but I don't expect you to add that to your profile.
@daveyruss@marclamonthill You have somehow missed the point that has been made over and over again. Congratulations on being shockingly (or perhaps wilfully) obtuse. Oh I'm sorry, let me make it simpler, obtuse = stupid.
