🚨 We did it — we’re changing the law!

So happy to say, on #InternationalNursesDay, that the Labour Government is adopting my Bill to legally protect the job title ‘Nurse’. 🥳

It will keep patients safe & ensure respect for the profession. Huge congrats @protectnurse.👏🏾

It was a big day last week presenting my Ten Minute Rule Bill to #ProtectNurse. 💙

I was shocked that anyone can call themselves a nurse! So, my Bill would prevent misuse of the title - enhancing patient safety & ensuring respect for registered nurses.
