Canada’s euthanasia regime resembles ghoulish dystopian fiction.
An Ontario “medical doctor” approved the killing of a man with mental health challenges, including suicidal ideation, in a Tim Horton’s parking lot.
He then drove his patient directly to an industrial morgue facility and proceeded to kill him in a holding room.
The same “physician” also failed properly to kill another patient because he couldn’t find one of the deadly drugs in his briefcase. He pronounced the man dead, but when the patient’s breathing restarted, the killing physician had to return to finish the job, and pronounce him dead a second time.
Despite a review by the Ontario College of Physicians, this quack is still licensed to practice medicine.
And despite almost daily horror stories like this, the Liberal government is considering further exemption of the world’s most licentious euthanasia regime, to include the killing of minors and the mentally ill.
For some 2300 years, virtually every physician in the western world took the Hippocratic Oath, pledging “neither will I administer a poison to anybody when asked to do so, nor will I suggest such a course.”
How far we have fallen.
