@BOSSportsGordo I wouldn’t even be surprised if it’s Rick Porcello. If he somehow steps into the box with the bases loaded, I’ll be thinking “oh, cool…”
@BOSSportsGordo He began camp healthy and with a chance to win an everyday job.
There were clearly issues with attitude/entitlement immediately. Then he stunk, was moved to his natural position when Story got hurt, stunk more, then got hurt.
The complete lack of development was the problem.
@BOSSportsGordo@saintsfan93 I wouldn't give the Arias straight up for Neto.
Also, Arias would possibly be resundant with Nimmala, who they just got from Toronto in the Soriano deal.
@1brightman1@notgaetti@baseball_ref@Stathead@Reds@baseballhall ...and then adjust for era. Put Votto's first five full seasons in the middle of the pitcher's era and see what happens to his numbers, especially those 356 HR's.
No knock on Joey. Fantastic player. But these comps ignore a lot of stuff.
@D_Frank34@midwestboxbreak I didn't see your post at the time.
I have an updated list and it appears that you have many of them if these are still available.
LMK what you'd like in return
@jasontconnor@DOBrienATL My go-to example has been the 1976 Red Sox, who used 11. I mention them in part because it was exactly 50 years ago and I also find it funny that the 11 guys included two Ricks and one Dick.
