How we talk about those we serve (students, teachers, etc.) can be a culture builder or a culture killer. When we consistently look for the positive, others are likely to follow. We we habitually judge and criticize, we're probably giving our listeners permission to do the same.
Imagine you are not allowed to give a numerical grade on your favorite assignment/lesson. Instead, you can only give high-quality feedback and permission for students to re-do until you have no more feedback to offer.
Now, stop imagining and just do it! #learningshouldbefun
@CoachemupSolo Watched yesterday. Loved it. I had some questions that did not seem to be answered. In the beginning it seemed like Lavelle was not actually Akeem's son. But they never went back to it.
I have voted. I was not sure who I was voting for until I had my ballot but I have made my choice. Everyone who can vote and has not done so should go vote. We are electing the people that will represent us.

@HMitchell062913 This is something that is difficult for many people. But it is so true. If you have never Let go of control give it a try. Your students will surprise you.
Houlton and Aroostook Huskies Football Club will be playing 7 on 7 games against each other. Older players will play on Saturday evening and the younger players will play during the week. Dates, places and gameday procedures will be announced soon.
I had a leader tell me once that all you need to remember to be successful is the Four Rs.
1. Right Place
2. Right Time
3. Right Uniform
4. Right Attitude
Even though this was over 20 years ago it still holds true.
@GregSederberg I practiced this when I was in the military when I dealt woth difficult soldiers. This a a leadership trait that can be applied to many different aspects when dealing with difficult people.
