She said she'd always dreamed of going to Paris. Made me promise I'd take her.

So I planned it — 3 weeks through France, ending in Paris. Fancy dinner. Slow dancing under the lights. I even wrote a song to play for her the night we left.

Then she told me she'd rather go to Italy.

So I planned that instead. 3 weeks through Italy.

But the song stayed. I thought I was writing it about a place. Turns out I was writing it about her.

"Dancing in Paris" — out this Friday, 9/18. I hope you love it as much as I would've loved Paris itself.

A late-night mood that never left…
soft lights, quiet moments, and melodies that still linger. 🎹

Grateful for everyone who's listened, shared, and made this song part of their story.

I love where we live. So many developers clear-cut every tree before they build, then give the community a name like "Windsor Forest". I'm endlessly grateful they kept the trees where I live. No matter how my day has gone, driving home on that parkway lined with trees gives me an instant feeling of happiness and peace.

Nature has a way of resetting us, if we let it.

There’s something about a live performance that a studio recording just can’t capture. 🎹🎷

Here’s a look at that energy in action — the kind of moment that reminds you why this music was made to be felt, not just heard.

Riley, my chocolate Lab, was always my most devoted audience. He loved Rachmaninoff, absolutely could not stand Beethoven, Prokofiev, or show tunes (he had opinions!), but here he is settling in for some Gershwin. Wish every audience listened this closely.

On the Rocks — served your way. 🥃

This track brings that effortless smooth jazz feel — warm piano runs, a groove that never lets up, and tenor sax lines that just glide. It’s the kind of song that fits a golden-hour drive just as easily as it fills a room at full volume — cool and unhurried, but never short on energy.

Memory Monday takes me back to Berlin, standing with Jan at the Brandenburg Gate. Travel has a way of feeding the music — new places, new stories, new inspiration. This one stuck with me.
