@MLW@Veeps Is the time-keeper unable to hit more than four beats on the bell? I've never heard a bell rung like that in more than 40 years as a fan.π€£
@m_bultman Fug. I was hoping that somehow he'd come to Detroit. I saw him as a perfect veteran leader to steady the ship. Knew it was a long shot, though.
The strongest people don't always look like they're struggling.
Lane Pryce kept showing up to work, smiling, and carrying on as if everything was fine.
Reality check: You never truly know what someone is carrying behind a quiet face. Kindness costs nothing, but it can mean everything.

What's one thing you wish people understood about silent struggles?
π Repost if this reminded you to check on someone.
@m_bultman I can't believe after all that time - and following Cossa for all those years, going back to junior, that he ended up literally playing only ONE game in Detroit - and not even a full one.
So great to see Steve Yzerman so active tonight, wheelin' and dealin' to make the Red Wings better...oh...wait...Steve? STEVE??!?! #LGRW#Larkin#Cossa#Debrincat
@efiug@DaFloppyFishNJD@NJDevils Lombardi is nearly a point-per-game player over his last two seasons in the AHL. His problems are injuries and questions as to how he'd handle the physical nature of the NHL. Trouble is - he never even got a shot with a bad/mediocre Red Wings team. That's why fans are upset.
