Milton is moving faster right now than he has at any point in his journey, and it's right at the point he has the most northerly component in track. It's a race to see how much latitude it can gain before the feature from the west shoves him due east. However, in a weird twist, because the storm jogged more east yesterday before it started to gain latitude, it might get a couple extra hours coming north today before the feature from the west catches it. So oddly, the further east jogs yesterday might actually help it come more north in the end. Crazy!
