@PGJ9@Everton I just don’t understand the team selection, a strong line up should have won this easy and had us in the next round. 7 days til the next game!
He put a lot of pressure on himself saying he always wins in his second season, and he’s been hammered all season by everyone. Fair play to big Ange there.
@Holdentheblue @Tom_FtblScout That was the issue for me, 2-0 up and the left back is in the left wing position, when they had pace to counter. For all of the goals Myko was nowhere to be seen, I think Tarkowski was even asking him where he was after one of them. We’re open to the counter all the time.
@grandoldteam 2-0 up, minutes to go and the left back is high in the left wing position and you’ve taken off a player capable of retaining possession. Should just be seeing the game out at this point. Every free kick or corner they countered at pace against us. The danger was there.
@PeterSimon07 Ha yeah seeing young and Keane just killed everything. Also we have 3 of the 4 forward players unable to deliver a final ball. Mad that the players who couldn’t win for 4 months last season dominated the starting line up.
Lord Rose, Chairman of Asda, criticises Brexit
"We are the architects of our own demise. And our own demise started in 2016 when we made the ridiculous vote to come out of Europe"
"Now, you would say, well, you're an old moaning remainer, but of course I am. But of course, if you look at the stats, nobody has yet convinced anybody that coming out of Europe was the right thing to do"
"And by setting the barrier so low, if you like, at a 50% majority, most of those people, dare I say it, who were the one or 2% who got them over the line to get us to do Brexit, have died because they were mostly older people"
"Ask young people today if that's what they wanted. Ask if that's the right thing to have done. Ask business leaders to know, are they happy with the result? And the answer is no. So we made a big mistake"
"Everything that has happened since then, apart from the one big factor, which nobody could have predicted, COVID has a link back to what we did when we came out on Brexit"
