@minc798 Do you know if Versace is going to relocate? David Yurman is going into their old location, but given success of Oak Street corridor right now was wondering if a major brand like that was truly closing or just moving
@minc798 Are any of the other forthcoming tenants more along the “luxury” lines that the property was trying to position itself for (ie Lange Boutique)? Certainly not going to complain about progress, but just curious given the aim of the developers and premier location of spaces
@minc798 In theory yes, but seemed like that proposal was still very much in its infancy? I suppose the fact that it’s out there suggests a new store not going in at the moment tho
@minc798@TraceyRyniec Have you heard anything about where 260 relocating? They had seemed to be doing very well and originally claimed they would be back
@minc798 Obviously, glad they’re finally opening in the city (believe they have an oak brook location already). Just can’t help but think that it *should* be in/around mag mile
@SPOTNEWSonIG Do you know what happened at Harry Potter store on Mag Mile this afternoon? Looked like store was cleared and sizeable police presence (sorry if I missed in an earlier tweet)
@minc798 @stools94 @pa_tall Why is this even still an argument lol. Poster *impliedly tried to say Illinois was losing Billionaires. Data shows that number went up. Poster now I think is saying (and I’m sure you’d agree with), if Chicago fixed some things, it would have even more. Both can be true
@minc798 Noticed a few articles recently that Brooks Brothers is reopening flagship-type stores in NYC and Boston; seen any indications they’re circling back on Chicago?
@lacherbauer@WestLoopTom as a fan of all your accounts, you all likely share the same ‘goal,’ with just very different strategies of messaging; AL is pushing a “call to action,” Tom trolls those already pronouncing Chicago’s doom, and @minc798 tries to highlight positive developments/context
