You should’ve had a family who stuck up for you. You should’ve had some support when you were being abused.
Instead, the very people who are supposed to be there for you to protect you and support you were the ones abusing you and trying to gaslight you into believing you deserved it.
You were not the problem. You had some very dysfunctional family members.
DID YOU KNOW?
1. American milk is illegal in Europe. Too many chemicals.
2. US bread is considered cake in Europe. Too much sugar.
3. American eggs are illegal in UK. They wash off the natural protection.
4. US meat is banned in 160 countries. Because of hormones.
5. American apples are coated with wax that is also used for cars.
6. In the US, 60% of food contains stuff banned in other countries.
The narcissist hates you with a burning, irrational kind of hatred. And it’s not because you did something wrong, or offensive, or mean, it’s because you have a strong sense of character and moral integrity.
And the narcissist can’t let anyone figure out where that hatred actually comes from because they know how dysfunctional and disturbing it looks.
So when people see this intense hatred they have for you and they ask the narcissist where it comes from, the narcissist has to make you out to be some kind of monster to validate the intense, irrational, seething hatred they have for a decent person who has done nothing wrong or offensive.
Babe, remember:
The victim of narcissistic abuse is often the one who’s visibly breaking down. They’re the one crying, reacting, and looking “crazy” because they’ve been pushed to their emotional limit.
Meanwhile, the abuser stays calm and composed, telling everyone, “See? Look how crazy they are.”
It’s strange how, in this generation, when victims finally speak about how they were hurt, they’re often labeled as “toxic” or “dramatic”. Weren’t we the same people encouraging them to find their voice?
The irony is that when they stay quiet, they’re told to speak up. But when they finally do, they’re criticized for being inappropriate, pretentious, or simply told they should have kept it to themselves.
Stay away from the people who trusted your abuser’s narrative about you without even bothering to ask you directly. They weren’t looking for the truth.
