Kemble is the ultimate parent of the Thames Water operating company, which has 16 million customers. The water company’s executives have said that Thames and its customers are insulated and it would continue to operate as normal, should Kemble collapse.
Oh shir!
@AnnBuscema @AndyGJBurge @darrengrimes If they ate Mysogynistic Men or Conspiracy Theorists Presenters or Contributors, surely they should be encouraged?
@Beany_1 @garygilligan A no 10 spokesman said of Greenpeace "We obviously don't think that people who are accused of breaking the law should have a seat at the table in discussions with government". Where does that leave the Home Secretary, or many other members of this disgraceful "government"

I'm very confused. I tried speaking to Anthony, who told me he was in charge, and he just said that all coop stores can charge different prices. He even tried to insist that this pricing structure was perfectly alright. Do you agree? I don't.
@coopuk on your website you show "2 scotch eggs" for £1.70. You also list them at 2 for £4. Doesn't seem much of a bargain to me. Went to your store in Arthur Road, Wimbledon Park, and the same product was shown on the shelf price label as £2.55.
@nicobulus @JohnJCrace I believe he only "reached" the rank of junior analyst; the first rung on a very long ladder. Oh, and made a vice president; given out like sweeties in American corporations, quite meaningless.
From Guardian today:
Sunak invited about a dozen MPs to ... Chequers on Sunday. The majority were people who supported Liz Truss in last summer’s leadership contest, or are still thought to harbour sympathies with Boris Johnson.
“He’s love bombing us,” said one of those present.
Liz Truss today to The Spectator: "I’m positive about the future of the Conservative party. I think we need to start building more of a strong intellectual base."
Can anyone think of a good starting point?
