@iBladesi@linglingfool I remember drive shack preferreds. At first I got excited. Nice yield. Friends had good stuff to say about their product. Then I looked at the financials and cried inside. They were bad. That was many years ago. No idea since. I am horrible at golf but I am good at drinking
@iBladesi@linglingfool Preferred pick… to lose your money… I will probably like rithm until the end of time when they are a giant multi asset manager and theme park owner and drinks manufacturer.
@yenoms@ExcessDefaults First time I have seen this in awhile. Why give away management fees instead of keeping them and running the thing into the ground and selling for close to nothing. Good for them. Actually impressed. Let’s see what those assets are worth
@iBladesi Same as you and some paxs. I didn’t like the big premium on pdi until I learned that they use to massively to their advantage to issue shares above par which allow them to cover the distribution. If it’s in discount, they may have issues covering. Hard to value their swaps.
@iBladesi@DrBankrupt I honestly can’t tell if they/he/she/it is joking or being honest… but I appreciate the humor if it’s a joke. If not.. I won’t yuck their weird Asian yum. Each to their own.
@michaellistman It’s not the size of the latitude. It’s how you wiggle the longitude that matters. Some nice fiords, you can drive through some massive tunnels. Great seafood. I want to go way north and sleep under the northern lights.
@michaellistman Every summer. And this one was projected to be hot. France & Spain have it bad. And obviously no one owns an ac. Austrian mountains are nice & cooler. Dolomites? Or do go way north. Why not. I hate sitting in the heat. Trains don’t manage it great either.
@iBladesi The heart is now a rocket!!! The irony! Billions and billions on ai and how we have heart rockets… so you hear and see them go… but do you really know where… no one does.. data centers in space? Why not on land first. When do we get to go to the moon for the weekend?
@iBladesi Although pimco calling out leveraged loans, software loans, junk as looking bad is not making me happy owning their closed end funds which own a lot of all this stuff… sooo which is it.. they are not trading well & own a lot of crapola. Gundlach? Not much better
@iBladesi I think it’s better for markets to have an almost deal every few days or week. So we pump 3% higher & then only drop a tiny bit when it turns out we are actually bombing them but only a little. As part of the negotiations for the next deal to make a deal, which is imminent
@iBladesi Since I keep buying their bonds I think I should probably start following their earnings? But that’s work. Can I just assume they won’t blow up in the next year or two & and I can do the work later…
@iBladesi@DrBankrupt Huh? Don’t they have some sort of swap with a big bank & not actual shares? So they first said spacex then filled with all different space stocks in filing & then filled with spacex? So it really is double spacex?
@iBladesi I got some margin back as I closed out some options & bought some rwtp at 23.52. Looking at my underwater pmt preferreds to dca down because that’s what I do. If you share, I usually add. When/if rates drop, we can all post our 3,000% bb returns.. over 1,000 years. still counts
@michaellistman We are just about close to thinking about discussing an agreement to potentially propose a deal that neither side will sign.. markets rip! Bombs away.. markets snore. Rinse repeat. Honestly man. No idea how this works. Suspending disbelief? No one wants to be short in case true?
@iBladesi Put in some orders lower to take up some of the supply. But lower just because. Down every 25 cents from closing. I don’t expect it to break 23.
