Playing college basketball is a FULL-TIME job & then some! Classes, workouts, study tables, team practices, travel, film study, individual workouts & practice, assignments, projects & games. You better learn time management! No one standing over your shoulder to manage it for you!

[Hoop Herald @TheHoopHerald]

“You build confidence by doing really hard things over & over - cause that’s your intent - that’s your focus - your job is your focus.”

I saw him play in HS truly left an impression on me. It's not just about his size or talent, although he did average about 30 points in one of the toughest conferences in NYC. What really stood out was his relentless effort and commitment to playing the game the right way.

[Coach Hood @TeamRHJAZ]

I’m seeing mad 6’0 guards starting for NCAA Tournament teams, and yet so many coaches don’t recruit small guards. Makes no sense to me!

A city with a $2.4 billion LED sphere should also have a reliable transit connection to its airport. Just saying.

Recruiting has changed so much…

Some good changes, some bad.

But when a Power 5 D1 Head Coach, that’s known as a “cool coach”, texts me while at a recruiting event and says

“I hate it here”……

It does make you wonder what is happening.

[Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein]

This is the statement that Bob Huggins released on June 17th --- 22 days ago.

Now he's saying that he never resigned from West Virginia.

There's only one way to summarize this situation: A very sad ending to a Hall-of-Fame career.

[Jaquam Bodden @JaquamB]

I’m tired of the Cooper Flagg “think pieces” about why he isn’t playing 17U.

Seen him play at Top 100 camp with kids older than him and won MVP.

Let the kid and play with his brother and friends. He doesn’t need to play with an aau team close to Montverde Academy.
