This was a courageous decision on the part of President Trump. It shows his effort to be a peacemaker was not a charade. Peace requires moving beyond hatred and enmity. To meet with a former enemy is an indication that better days are ahead. I hope and pray that Syria’s president takes this opportunity to also be a peacemaker and lead his country to prosperity. All of President Trump’s suggestions are reasonable and should be followed by al-Sharaa. Thank you.

This goes too far. Trump didn’t campaign on it and it isn’t a priority. Not only that, but when I try to push back against claims of xenophobia in the Republican Party I don’t need this giving them ammunition. Also, Elon wasn’t born here so they’d have a field day with that. It’s a bad idea and plays right into their hands. Stay focused and don’t create unnecessary distractions.

B. Except that I do support making vaccines voluntary if they are under an emergency use authorization, like the COVID vaccines. I also support the notion that you don’t need a Covid vaccine if you’ve already had it and have natural immunity. Vaccines for children such as mumps, rubella, etc., should be mandatory.

He’s right. The military is only there to do one thing. It’s not a Petri dish for social fads. I’m OK with gays in the military because there is precedent for that and it works. As far as women in combat, they are the ones that are supposed to be protected. That’s the natural instinct. So long as they’re not engaged in hand to hand combat with men they have a role. But keep them away from the front line ugly stuff, please.

I had a good discussion with my daughter about this topic. We are not Jewish. I told her of my surprise in the aftermath of October 7 that Jewish people were not united in that moment. She said that being anti-Zionist is not being anti-Semitic and she shared some of the videos the person in this clip mentions. I agree that there are Jewish people that have thought this through and taken an anti-Zionist position. There are also a lot of bandwagon anti-semites who are not acting in good faith and are using the current situation to express their hatred of Jewish people, regardless of where they live.
