Unbelievable that the round of 32 is set with 9 out of 10 African countries still in the tournament. Algeria, Cabo Verde, Côrte d'Ivoire, DR Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, and South Africa. Unfortunately Tunisia did not qualify to move on. There's a lot of talent there.

What a comeback for the DRC Leopards to win over Uzbekistan! I thought there was no hope for the Leopards to win this game and they emerged from the dead to beat Uzbekistan 3-1 and quality for the next round of 32 teams in this tournament. Great effort.

This is a tough 3-2 loss for USA against Türkiye. They started the match so well only to lose in the final moments. Even though the game doesn't change overall standings for the next round, it is heartbreaking and will only get tougher going forward.

Brazil's performance us always really the benchmark of good football and Scotland did not have good answers. Also, simple mistakes cost them the game. The crowd really got excited when Brazil's superstar Neymar came in. Perhaps it is his last World Cup?

Egyptian Pharaoh's performance beating New Zealand 3-1 was very surprising. I thought that New Zealand was going to overrun the Pharaohs. Egypt had good defense and the offense was in high gear led by Mohamed Salah. We'll see how they perform against Iran.

What an incredible final between Barcelona and OL Lyonne! Barcelona smashed Lyonne 4-0 with two goals from Pajor and two goals from Paralluelo. Lyonne had momentum in 1st half and it was all Barcelona in the 2nd half. Lyonne really had no answers and lost.
