Great Canadian Entertainment’s leaders are essential to our organization’s success. They drive outstanding team members who deliver exceptional experiences to our guests across our 23 destinations and corporate offices.

Over the past seven months, 23 of our leaders have embarked on a transformative journey through our LEAD Program, investing time, energy, and heart into developing their leadership capabilities. LEAD was designed not only to challenge them but to prepare them for the next chapter of their leadership journey. Each participant was selected for their potential to lead Great Canadian into the future, and they truly rose to the occasion.

To celebrate their achievements, we hosted a two-day Capstone event at @PickeringCasino, bringing together leaders from British Columbia, Ontario, and the Atlantic provinces.

Petroglyph Development Group (PDG), owned by Snuneymuxw First Nation, has entered into definitive agreements to acquire River Rock Casino Resort and Chances Maple Ridge from Great Canadian Entertainment.

PDG is set to become B.C.’s largest Indigenous-led casino operator.

This evening, I had the chance to celebrate the official opening of the new Great Canadian Casino and Resort in Toronto.

As the largest casino in Canada, it will create 2,000 good-paying jobs, contribute over $500 million to Ontario’s economy and boost our growing tourism sector.
