@finebaum Under the same logic, let’s not have any consequences for drunk drivers either. They’re dealing with addiction and have been through a lot. Make sure they keep their keys because taking away their ability to drive would cause irreparable harm…
@ChazWrightTV The support and encouragement to find a way around the rules and regulations that are pretty black and white so that the University can benefit from his athletic ability would place them on the wrong side of morality and integrity.
@dogeholder34@TerryDunlevy@Brett_McMurphy So you’re advocating for what ND advocated for… If they’re a top-12 team, then they’re in. So I don’t understand what your issue is with ND since that’s what you want.
@dogeholder34@TerryDunlevy@Brett_McMurphy Then I would say that if conferences and conf champs are so important, that’s no big deal. Miami not only didn’t win the conference but they didn’t even play for its championship!
@dogeholder34@TerryDunlevy@Brett_McMurphy Every other school has preferential treatment. Win your conference championship, you’re in. ND doesn’t have that opportunity so they advocated that if they’re part of the top-12 teams, they should be in. Kinda just makes logical sense!
@bordeauxyoutube@IrishEyesFootb1@GoldeNDomerzz Uhhh, did you read the post? Each P4 champ gets ‘special treatment’ to jump #10 regardless of their ranking. So not just Notre Dame. And therefore, not special treatment.
@stoolpresidente Why is this so hard for so many to understand. Cooks caught the ball while going to the ground. Which now requires he secure the ball THROUGH the ground (not to the ground). Adams catches the ball standing up and is brought to the ground. Which does not require through the ground
@SSN_USC You do realize you hosted ND twice in this entire screen shot, right? Because both are on there. Hard to sellout the ND game at home when you don’t host it in 2023 and 2025.
@DanWolken I also still don’t understand why this is so “pertinent” or troubling? In a tournament of 12 teams, wouldn’t you want a team ranked in the top-12 be part of it? Why is that so troubling to USC? Here’s a thought, maybe win your games and get in on merit too!
@chieftiger58@jaredsla He had 58 rushing yards against Auburn… on 24 carries no less! If Love is gonna get dragged for 33 against Miami, at least they’re good at defense.
@CFBTalkDaily Due to independence, ND signs an agreement with other conferences that they’ll be included in a playoff of the top-12 teams IF they’re ranked in the top-12 (based on merit and wins). Seems reasonable to me but get dragged. I don’t get it.
@DanWolken@YahooSports I’d like to know where the “tantrum” was?
Declining a bowl? Other teams have that haven’t had a coaching change. So I hope you thing they’re throwing a tantrum
Voicing displeasure with a public attack against you? Sounds reasonable
Soooo tantrum???
@BobbyRobert99 @TheTexasHomer Not quite. You’re confusing what independence means in this context. Independence from a conference is what we’re talking about here. Texas launched the LHN to dip their toes into seeing if they could make it without conference media deals (aka, be independent). They could not.
@JacobTurnerNC Look at you twisting words. Nowhere does ND ask the ACC for advocacy for them. Nowhere do they ask for the support/backing of the ACC. You state this based on nothing.
All they asked for was to not be attacked by a conference they are affiliated with.
