@bestiedemorat You're right about macaques are WILD and they should be freed and live in the wild. The macaques @ichikaw_zoo are in captivity with only four troops, they have anxiety and depression just like any other animals in a cage and not to mention inbreeding.

@tsubachakun Did you know that macaques should live in the wild rather than being confined in Saruyama? Just think about Punch, he will remain in captivity for the rest of his life. If we truly care about macaques, we need to seriously consider whether they are genuinely happy in captivity.
