Blackademic (noun; informal, often pejorative in critical usage)
A Black academic or administrator whose professional advancement and institutional authority derive primarily from DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) frameworks rather than traditional scholarly merit or neutral competence. The role centers on expertise in narratives of perpetual Black victimhood, systemic racism, and racial grievance, while the holder occupies an elite position that confers status, resources, and moral authority over White colleagues and institutions.
