This man saw a business opportunity, but he was struggling financially, and his wife was the one providing for the family at the time. She was the one feeding the family and paying the children's school fees.
Without telling her, he borrowed ₦20 million and invested it in the business.
The business succeeded, and he paid back the loan. With the profits he made, he started importing kitchen utensils and gradually got back on his feet.
When he eventually told his wife that he had borrowed the money, she became angry that he had taken such a huge loan without informing her.
He told her that if he had told her beforehand, she would have discouraged him from taking the risk.
Was he right or wrong?
This man slept with his wife's maid and got her pregnant,
It was the maid that told her.
She smiled and said OK, no reaction, no shouting..
That night, she called her husband and the maid,
The Husband started apologising for cheating but she calmly said;
"The baby was never yours, you can't get a woman pregnant because you're impotent "
The man was shocked 😲
The maid fell down and started apologising, the baby belongs to her boyfriend who asked her to remove it.
The man then asked the woman "how about our son"
She said: Not yours too, but your brother's son"
We did that to save you from shame.
The man left the house and never came back....
People that heard what happened said she was ruthless..
My friend’s father had one strange rule in their house.
Nobody was allowed to throw away old notebooks.
His children thought it was unnecessary.
After he died, they started clearing his room.
Inside one cupboard were dozens of their childhood notebooks.
Maths.
English.
Basic Science.
Even drawings.
He had kept them all.
On several pages, he had written the dates his children achieved certain things.
First day of school.
First exam they passed.
First prize.
First time they wrote their names correctly.
They thought he was keeping paper.
He was keeping their childhood.
There’s this man who lives in a face-me-I-face-you with his siblings. Almost every night, he brings a different lady home.
Whenever he brings someone over, his siblings already know what that means...they have to prepare to sleep outside because he can spend hours inside with the lady.
Sometimes, 11pm his siblings are still outside, waiting for him to finish.
Honestly, I just find the whole thing crazy.
He had called the guy three times that morning, but the number was already switched off. His ₦850,000 was gone.
The guy had been introduced to him by someone he knew. For almost three weeks, they talked about a crypto deal, and he kept sending updates and screenshots of previous transactions.
When he decided to join, the guy asked him to send ₦850,000 so they could complete the deal that night.
He sent it.
By morning, the number was off and WhatsApp was silent.
When his friend came around, he sat quietly for a while before saying, “Na person wey dey do the same thing deceive me.”
His friend laughed, then looked at him again and stopped.
I want to be honest about something.
I made that ₦5,000 post about two hours ago mainly as a little experiment. My views and impressions have been unusually low lately, and I genuinely wanted to know whether my posts were reaching people or if something else was going on.
The result honestly surprised me.
It made me realize that maybe it isn't always about the algorithm. Sometimes, it's simply about how much we engage with and support one another on this space.
And please, if that post made anyone feel uncomfortable or offended, I'm genuinely sorry. That was never my intention. I wasn't trying to play with anyone's feelings or make light of anybody's situation. Trust me, I need help too.
I'm just learning my way around this space, and tonight's little experiment taught me something.
For those who followed because of the give away, no hard feelings at all. If that's the only reason you came, you're absolutely free to unf0ll0w. ❤️
No offense taken. We move. 🙏🙏
A 40-year-old man complaining that a 30-year-old woman is “too old” for him is delusional.
A 25–30-year-old lady has no business marrying a 40-year-old guy.
Andropause is real, where testosterone usually declines.
Where was he when he clocked 30?
Where was he when he turned 35?
A 40-year-old man that has never been married before is a BIG RED FLAG!
May I never find myself thinking of how to leave a 25k job when there’s 150k on the table.
Dude ,when you are ready for life changing opportunities, the universe will know, but for now enjoy your 25k and your comfort zone.
It’s perfectly normal for people not to be interested in dating average people.
Just because someone is average doesn’t mean they necessarily want an average partner, especially when they don’t consider the average particularly appealing.
For example, the average American woman is often described as being overweight, and it’s perfectly normal for someone to prefer a partner who isn’t overweight.
The same applies to men and income. If the average man earns around $60,000 a year, that may be enough to live on, but many women would still prefer a partner who earns more than that.
This isn’t meant as a shot at overweight women or average-earning men. I just think framing it this way makes it easier to understand why someone might not want a partner who falls into a particular category.
People in these groups obviously still date. Overweight women date, and average-earning men date. But we also shouldn’t pretend that being average automatically means being what most people want in a partner.
Too many people give up on having fun as they get older.
There are two legitimate reasons someone’s priorities might change as they get older: either (1) you start a family, and your idea of fun becomes spending time with your spouse and kids, or (2) your idea of fun naturally changes as you get older and your interests evolve. Both make sense.
But there’s a whole group of people who seem to accept the idea that once you turn 30, 40, 50, etc., it’s no longer “appropriate” to go to parties, bars, or go on adventures the way you did when you were younger.
The other day, I saw people saying that once you turn 30, you should stop going to raves and clubs because you’re “too old” for them.
It’s strange that so many people think having fun and partying is only for young people.
Life is short. If you still enjoy doing something and it isn’t hurting anyone, there’s no real reason to stop just because you got older.
Being too agreeable can hurt your career more than being difficult.
A lot of people are taught that the way to get ahead at work is to be easy to work with. Be helpful. Be flexible. Don’t complain. Be a team player. Don’t rock the boat.
Then they wonder why they’re doing twice the work while someone else gets promoted.
I’m not saying you should be an asshole. Nobody wants to work with that person. But I think most people are far more likely to be too agreeable than too difficult.
People sit in meetings thinking an idea makes absolutely no sense and say nothing. They execute something they know won’t work because the person suggesting it is more senior. They say yes to work that shouldn’t be theirs. They wait to be asked instead of putting themselves forward. They have a different perspective but keep it to themselves because they don’t want to seem negative.
Meanwhile, the person who says, “I don’t think this will work, and here’s why,” gets noticed. Not because they’re difficult, but because they have a point of view.
The further I get in my career, the more convinced I am that blindly following everyone else is one of the worst career strategies.
If ten people in a room are nodding and you genuinely see something they don’t, there’s value in being the eleventh person who says it.
Obviously, there’s a difference between challenging something thoughtfully and being contrarian just for the sake of it. And yes, some workplaces punish people for speaking up. That’s real.
But there’s a huge amount of space between being a difficult asshole and being someone who agrees with everything.
I’d rather occasionally be the person who makes the room a little uncomfortable than build an entire career around being easy to manage.
Getting more physically attractive and building your career should be some of the most practical dating advice.
I already know someone is going to read this and say, “That’s shallow,” but try to understand what I’m saying.
If you’re struggling with dating, improve your appearance and improve your career.
Not because your worth as a person depends on how attractive or successful you are. It doesn’t. But dating isn’t completely detached from reality either. Physical attraction matters. Your lifestyle matters. Confidence matters. The way people perceive you matters.
And becoming more attractive doesn’t mean turning yourself into a model. Get in better shape. Dress better. Take care of your skin and hair. Have good hygiene. Find a haircut that suits you. Learn how to take decent pictures. Basically, put some effort into your appearance instead of expecting people to overlook everything because of your “personality.”
The career part matters too. Having a career you’re proud of gives you independence, money, stability, interesting experiences, and something you’re working toward. You’re also less likely to feel like your entire identity revolves around finding a relationship because you actually have a life you’re building.
There’s another uncomfortable reality: society generally treats attractive and successful people differently. People are often more receptive to someone who looks put together. You may get approached more, people may be more willing to talk to you, and you may make better first impressions.
Having money also gives you more opportunities to travel, socialize, pursue hobbies, attend events, and live somewhere you actually enjoy.
None of this guarantees a relationship. Obviously. But dating is partly a numbers game. If you’re currently getting almost no interest, becoming more attractive and expanding your social opportunities can increase the number of people who might be interested in you.
You’re not selling your soul to the dating market. You’re increasing your options.
Someone who is fit, dresses well, has a good career, takes care of themselves, has hobbies, has friends, and carries themselves confidently is going to experience different social situations from someone who is isolated, unemployed, neglects their appearance, and spends most of their free time online.
That’s not a moral judgment. It’s just reality.
Ironically, this can make dating easier because you’re no longer approaching every interaction thinking, “Could this person be my partner?”
You’re becoming someone with an actual life, and a relationship becomes something you can add to that life rather than the thing you’re desperately trying to build your life around.
Yes, there are unattractive, broke, socially awkward people who find amazing partners. Of course. I’m talking about increasing your chances, not guaranteeing an outcome.
If you can realistically become more attractive, healthier, more confident, more socially capable, and more established, why wouldn’t you?
“Work on yourself” gets thrown around so much that it has become almost meaningless.
I’m talking about concrete improvements.
Get healthier. Improve your appearance. Build a career. Build a social life. Become more confident.
Then go date.
That seems much more useful than telling someone to simply wait until the right person comes along.
My nephew takes dope. We suspected him to be taken it but no evidence until we discovered he actually takes it.
I don't joke with the boy so each time he asked me for money I always give him except I don't have.
He will take from me, from my siblings and his grand parents.
So when we found out that he takes dope we agreed not to be giving him money again.
Sometimes he would called and ask me for money, and promise that he wants to use it to buy food and not dope.
I don't know what to believe anymore. It hurt to see that a boy I care about so much takes this rubbish and I don't know what to do to help💔🥹
People who are obsessed with the idea of sex are boring people...
Every conversation gets misinterpreted
Every kind gesture means you want them
Every act suggest sex to them .
That is one hell of a boring human beign.
As a woman, once you have an issue with your husband and decide to leave, be very sure of your next step.
Because sometimes, going back after leaving can send the wrong signal; that you don't really have a life outside the marriage.
There's a woman I know who left her marriage with her two children. She is now back after 3 years.
Recently, I've been seeing her husband with different women. Surprisingly, his wife isn't even making a fuss about it.
I'm sure we all know why.
See finish.
Two inns stood on the same road.
One was large, beautiful, and half-empty.
The other was small, simple, and almost always fully booked.
A traveler finally asked the small innkeeper his secret.
“Why are people always choosing your inn?”
The innkeeper smiled.
“Because I turn people away.”
The traveler laughed.
“That’s your secret?”
“If I can’t serve someone well, I don’t take them in. The other inn tries to please everyone. I focus on serving the right people exceptionally well.”
Years later, the small inn had waiting lists while the larger inn struggled to survive.
Success often comes from knowing what to say no to. Protecting quality is more valuable than chasing everything.
I caught my husband asking my sister for just one round at 1:00 a.m.
I thought the problem was what he was asking for.
Then I heard my sister say:
“Are you sure she won’t find out?”
My stomach dropped.
I stood outside the guest room, completely frozen.
My husband had been sleeping beside me every night.
My sister had been staying with us for three weeks after losing her job and needing somewhere to stay.
And now, at 1:00 a.m., I was hearing this.
My husband lowered his voice.
“Please. Just one round. I’ll pay you back next Friday.”
My sister sighed.
“You said that last time.”
I almost opened the door.
Instead, I pulled out my phone and started recording.
My husband continued.
I met our cleaner at the door this evening. They had told her not to come around again until after she gives birth, so I asked what she was doing there.
She told me her family had called a meeting concerning her, but she didn’t want to attend.
Apparently, she’s pregnant with her 7th child, and all seven children are from different men.
She gives the children to her siblings to raise, one child here, another there, while she continues living her own life.
I asked her, “But why do you keep moving from one man to another?”
Her answer?
She said, I need to experience true love before I die
😂
At this point, even the family meeting has become very necessary 😂
I rent out power banks for ₦300 per day.
I currently have 30 power banks, and they’re all fully charged and ready for tomorrow.
Please, patronize my business. 😔🙏
