The Federation of Kenya Employers ,the leading employer's body in Kenya convened her members today for the 67th National Annual General Meeting at Argyle Grand Hotel under the theme “Re-skilling for the AI Economy.”
The meeting followed the official AGM proceedings, beginning with the President’s Report delivered by Dr. Gilda Odera, who highlighted the performance of various business sectors and the prevailing economic landscape affecting employers across the country.
Ms. Jacqueline Mugo, Executive Director and CEO of FKE also presented the Federation’s 2025 Annual Report, outlining FKE’s milestones in advocacy, employer training and capacity building, strategic partnerships, projects, and a review of the audited financial statements.
A key highlight of the AGM was the transition of leadership, which saw Mr. Michael Macharia, CEO Kenya Association of Hotel Keepers and Caterers elected as the National President , Mr. Laurence Okelo, Managing Director G4S as the 1st National Vice President, and Ms. Betty Korir, CEO Credit Bank PLC, as the 2nd National Vice President. Also, Ms. Suzanne Gachukia-Opembe Academic Director Riara Group of Schools
elected as a new member to FKE Management Board.
Congratulations to the newly elected leadership as they take up the mantle of championing employers’ interests and shaping the future of work in Kenya.
