@OrwellDay There are no flock safety cameras anywhere in NYC. There are, however, automated license plate cameras in NYC and even the Upper West Side. the map you’ve used is incomplete and misleading. There are no cameras in Central Park (no cars) and there are such cameras on the UWS.

@jf168401 @RitchieTorres I don’t think it’s nonsensical. What the DOJ has said, is that the dismissal is not based on the evidence and they reserve the right to renew the prosecution after the election (presumably if he loses).

@MattB_WOF @nut_history Ha! I’m 50 and Bird is my favorite player of all time. His court vision (and trash talking) were off the charts. But, LeBron is one of the greatest players ever. I also hate comparing players from one era to another - the game is much different today than it was back then.

@BronxDave @randallsisland Crazy that so many families got to the fields to be told they are closed. If you can close them at 8am you could have done it it 6am or 7am. And to close them for the entire day?!?!

@DavidMu99957700 @RexChapman It does feel bad, but I’m not sure it is a problem. Crisis management should not lead to other issues - logistics of getting 80k out of the stadium, making sure you make a factual statement concerning players condition, etc. plus there are so many things we don’t know about.
