Whataburger sells to private equity
Pat and Kathy give P Terry’s to the employees to ensure the culture and values remain intact forever
Best burger shack in Texas will remain that way
This was always an inevitability.
Was just a question of when it would happen.
You can’t fix pay without either a CBA or an antitrust exemption, even if the price fixing resulted from a settlement agreement that was approved by a court.
The Brendan Sorsby ruling should be the tipping point that pushes college football to the obvious conclusion (which isn’t the bill in the Senate).

CEO confidence improved for the 4th consecutive month in June, w/ business leaders reporting a better view of current conditions & a nearly unchanged outlook for the year ahead. Our @Airbus air cargo industry has withstood the uncertainties with the ME. @ChiefExecGrp
Aiden Robbins and Carson Tinney were hitless in yesterday's 11-3 win for Texas over Oregon.
It seems like they wanted in on the fun today.
Back-to-back bombs for Texas' two superstar bats
Adam Smith wrote in 1776 that individual self-interest naturally drives societies toward prosperity, forming the foundational philosophy for free-market capitalism: The "Invisible Hand" - Smith argued that when individuals pursue their own self-interest, they unintentionally benefit society as a whole. By trying to maximize personal gain, producers create goods that people want, at prices they are willing to pay, without needing central government planning. He also outlined specific, necessary functions for the government: 1) Protection: Defending the nation from external invasion. 2) Justice: Enforcing legal rights, contracts, and punishing crime. 3) Public Goods: Providing infrastructure (roads, bridges) that might not be profitable for private individuals to maintain. 4) Education: Funding universal education to counteract the numbing effects of specialized, repetitive factory labor.
Never did he envision the US Congress seeking to legislate college athletics - just for votes. #FreeMarket @elonmusk@heitner@RossDellenger@McCannSportsLaw@slmandel@jeffwardshow
Only Congress can save college football from crumbling? That's what Ted Cruz says.
Ted Cruz CFB League is the sound of a fox entering the henhouse.

I have deleted all my posts about Casey Borba. I don’t want to come off in a way that seems hurtful to Casey or to any of his family. I’m not one to judge how someone performs when I can’t do the same. Call me a coward, and a hypocrite, but I want to be represented as a person who cheers on their team no matter what. To all the people I have I talked about Borba to, I hope we can all put this behind us and get on the right path. @NashTalksTexas@tx_ex89@TrumansTexas
The FAA is listening to the flight training industry on how to evolve & improve current flight training. One area is particularly interesting from the @FAANews Administrator - "expanding the use of training technology such as flight simulation training devices and extended reality (XR) devices." @eagledynamics@bis_ric@FlyTricker@Spudspike https://t.co/XEDeyqq0aY
@jeffwardshow - I've been noodling on this concept for a while- Jerry Jones at 83 yrs old wants to go out with an audacious move. Jerry trades away X, Y, & Z to move up in 2027 draft and gets Arch Manning. Hands the keys over to Steven and says "don't screw it up!" Plausible?
Here's a handy map of German settlement in Texas. It's pretty interesting to look at. I guess I never realized that Dallas county and McClennan county were such huge German destinations. I'm surprised Comal county isn't solid green, being that New Braunfels is there.
