The “Silver Sneakers” crowd was at the gym today and one lady was working out with her portable oxygen machine. !!
I have never felt more grateful for good health AND motivated to Never stop trying to improve every day.
If that lady can get to the gym with her oxygen. Then anyone can do the same thing.
Get out and make yourself better than yesterday. You got this!
Let’s talk about extreme weight loss and the stuff that comes with it — mainly loose skin.
I’ve lost over 110 pounds. Some areas still have extra skin, especially around my stomach, glutes, and upper legs.
Time is the best answer. It’s also the last answer I wanted to hear.
In the last 6 months I’ve seen about 40% improvement just from training hard and staying hydrated. I’m also 2 months into GLOW. Nothing mind-blowing yet — this stack works slowly. Stay consistent.
Because most of my loose skin is in those areas, I train them hard to build muscle and fill them out. This thrust machine hits the glutes directly. One of my go-to moves on leg day.
Slow progress still counts. I’m just happy to see it moving in the right direction.
First time using these instead of the preacher machine, since it taken. The path is almost the same, but nothing locks your upper arms in place, so you can swing and take tension off the biceps whenever you want.
It as fun to try something new.
@BiohackerJake I use 29g 1/2” insulin syringe here. Barely feel anything, especially rear delt. Rear load the syringe with a lower g so it goes quicker. Run it under warm water. Smooth.
Sometimes you don’t realize how much you influence the people around you just by improving yourself.
After seeing the energy and health benefits I’m enjoying, my wife, my parents (now in their 70s) and my sister have started working out and eating healthier with me.
What a blessing to watch them enjoy life more every day.
It’s never too late to make the changes you want. Find your tribe (online, gym, friends) who will help keep you on track.
Know that it will take time. You didn’t get this way overnight, you won’t fix it overnight either. Consistency is the key.
You got this!
@RachyBull I don’t move the weight very far, maybe up from here 10-12”. Just keep the tension on the upper pecs.
You should be able to feel the tension where you want it. It’s tricky to figure out how to keep the shoulders and arms out of it.
These goblet raises are the best upper chest finisher for me.
Just trying to focus on only using my upper pecs to drag the weight up.
Hits me like nothing else.
