Trump operates from a position of extreme agency where he and his adversaries know he will absolutely adapt to new circumstances as he sees fit. His desires are clear and not unreasonable. The regime tapped along for decades in an attempt to become the regional hegemon. An anti western Middle East hegemon is not good for America and would create a much worse situation in the future. Trump acted exactly on this understanding.
@AwakenWithJP@DerrickEvans4WV Why does it seem like so many people have completely forgot what happened in the opening minutes of this conflict. Iran was given a clear notice that the games they play will no longer be tolerated…
@TheQayo@isaacrrr7 How is Israel a colonial project? It is a nation created by nationalist aspirations from a people in diaspora who have held strong sentiment for the same land for thousands of years….
@isaacrrr7 Because power, cost, strategy. Israel can do what they want but the US optics is much different and Israel RELIES on US support in this conflict. Get with the optics…
@LIFB0123@Timcast I don’t remember where he was proven to have rapped anyone especially an underage person. The felony charge was doctored up and you know it.
@geenyus17@TheMoneyApe It’s an information war… how do you know how close you are if you don’t make a statement to force your oppositions hands one way or the other.
That’s not their only problem, which is deeper than just social identity, but it’s the laws that the advocates try to push in western countries that are absurdly authoritarian in that regard. Or policies that are extreme security risks for the nation (which many in that group don’t even believe exists)
They are turning too far from the traditions of the society, which is fine, but the way they go about it is disingenuous and authoritarian.
