🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham Hotspur reach agreement with Newcastle United to sign Sandro Tonali. Deal for 26yo Italy international to join #THFC from #NUFC £92.5m + £7.5m in potential add-ons based around multiple Champions League qualifications @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/dWEZtjFzFK
@MC_of_A That’s true. What I meant by it was that it should give Spurs more leverage to use that $ on immediately improving the first 11. Unless I’m thinking about this incorrectly?
@NathanAClark It seems to be a fair deal for all parties. Sucks to lose him, but if it’s at the expense of making us competitive now, and bolstering the midfield/attack, I think it’s something that just has to happen.
Sell on clause and right to match is nice tho!
🚨 Brighton & Hove Albion reach agreement with Tottenham Hotspur to sign Luka Vuskovic. Deal for 19yo defender £46m + £4m add-ons. #THFC retain 20% sell-on clause & matching rights. Croatia int’l to take medical after WC @TheAthleticFC post @FabrizioRomano https://t.co/4uyV8BIVUp
@TaylorTwellman It’s made it more competitive but the tie breakers have been a buzz kill. Pleasantly surprised by how some of the “lower tier” teams have performed on this stage
@NathanAClark It would obviously suck to lose him…but if that meant reinvested that fee of 40-50M (conservative) and we got Tonali and 1 of Wharton or Fernandes, is it worth it?
@AlexiLalas This is purely an educated guess…but I’d imagine more people globally have access to streaming/tv devices than 2022, so this number was always likely to go up?
An increase in viewership doesn’t equate to people disliking hydration breaks (when not necessary)?
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham have entered the race to sign Sandro Tonali! 💣🇮🇹
De Zerbi wants Tonali as new star for the midfield, ideal to step up #THFC level.
