๐๏ธThe journey begins with truth.
Step into the world of #RisingNarratives with the pilot episode, where I break my silence and share my deeply personal story of abuse at the hands of my family.
I believe sharing our stories of abuse and the subsequent mental health problems that can follow will assist in challenging and eventually breaking the taboos of discussing these issues, and can offer hope to others navigating similar pains and struggles.

Hey folks.
I haven't posted in a while because I'm unfortunately going through a divorce and was recently let go from my job.
I fell behind on credit card & car payments and bills, so I started a GoFundMe to temporarily assist with getting those things paid while I wait for unemployment to kick in and while I look for another job AND and aprtment.
Anything you can donate helps, no matter how small. And if you could share this so it gets more exposure I would really appreciate it.

Jeez, it is SO FRUSTRATING when someone tells you they know you're going through a lot and are struggling and offer to help you, but then get upset with you for asking for the help they offered and talking down to and lecturing you for it. That is NOT being sympathetic/helpful.
