@SebZistaken @FlyeKitesJay @Dexerto That was one event, normally Smash tournaments get less than 1% of the viewers of the tier 1 esports. You're also comparing total viewers to concurrent. LoL esports matches get around 140+ million total viewers (5 mill+ concurrent)

@brycent @ReadyPlayerRich @Dexerto We switched from AWS to DigitalOcean and we were able to cut costs by almost 35% without any change in performance.

It can defiantly vary based on the solution you need but I would guess most companies on AWS could cut costs without a noticeable change in service.
