I am absolutely devastated about Norm Macdonald. Norm had the most unique comedic voice I have ever encountered and he was so relentlessly and uncompromisingly funny. I will never laugh that hard again. I'm so sad for all of us today.
What should happen in the next 24 hours:
1. Clear the Capitol—as peacefully as possible, but in any case remove the mob from the seat of the legislative branch of our government.
2. Reconvene and finish counting the electoral votes.
3. Impeach in the House, convict in the Senate.
May Christmas be an opportunity for all of us to rediscover the family as a cradle of life and faith, a place of acceptance and love, dialogue, forgiveness, fraternal solidarity and shared joy, a source of peace for all humanity.
#Ashes remind us of the direction of our existence: a passage from dust to life. We are dust, earth, clay, but if we allow ourselves to be shaped by the hands of God, we become something wonderous. https://t.co/C0dilCH8OR
Expanding the nondelegation doctrine would make it easier for conservative legal groups to hinder progressive efforts to reform healthcare and tackle climate change by stripping agencies of their ability to act with discretion and perform normal functions. https://t.co/kqiEZHFnBa

Very sad to hear Governing will be shutting down operations. I've been a subscriber for several years and will miss their excellent coverage of state and local government news and happenings. Our nation's 'laboratories of democracy' were well served for 32 years.
Pennsylvania will be the first state to automatically seal records for non-convictions, summary offenses and most nonviolent misdemeanor convictions — making as many as 40 million criminal charges hidden from the public, landlords and most employers.

It was a great honor to return to Penn State Scranton to deliver remarks at the Student Awards Dinner on April 17. I was very impressed with the accomplishments of this next generation of leaders. Congrats to all!
