@mcnaughton42@MobyDickSpoiler It's actually not. The current rules allow for re-touching the rock. It doesn't specifically say you can't touch the granite. The Swedes would like this clarified. It has no impact on the shot, so nobody else cares...
@Joseph_Seiler @JacquiDelaney The problem is that word "granite" is NOT present in the official rules of play and competition for curling.
The word "granite" only appears in the clarification issued by World Curling AFTER the Canada vs. Sweden game...
@johnnymocurler@CBCOlympics What the issue is here is a minor infraction at best. It's interesting that the talk is about cheating. In hockey if you trip an opposing player, you sit in the penalty box for two minutes and then move on. No one calls you a cheater...
@OttawaRowing As a rower and the parent of a former Carleton athlete, I have seen that Ed's level of effort and commitment to the program and athletes goes above and beyond. The rowing community is blessed with a lot of truly great coaches and Ed stands tall amongst them. Congratulations Ed!
@canadapostcorp I have received 100% of shipments sent by courier. However, about 10% of all items I have ordered that were shipped by postal service never showed up!
@CIRCRaceControl Watching the live stream... MUCH better job of announcing today. Today's announcers seem to be much more knowledgeable on who the competitors are! #cdnindoorrowing
@IndyCar@SPMIndyCar@robertwickens You should be proud. It was a brilliant drive. You've got my vote for driver of the race! If anything, @IndyCar owes you an apology for screwing up the last restart.
@IndyCar@robertwickens@SPMIndyCar Really too bad for Wickens. Driver of the race for sure. The incident with Rossi was entirely @IndyCar race control's fault. Very poor restart procedure. Pace car had the lights on until it pulled off into the pits! No chance for Wickens...
@fatsculler@rowCSSRA So, instead of giving coaches the tools to deal with potential dangers, it's better to completely discourage kids that aren't as genetically gifted as their teammates / competitors? ...too bad kid, you're too small and we no longer have a place for you...
@rowCSSRA This is not surprising. @rowingcanada does not seem to be interested in developing lightweight rowers. It's obviously easier to just eliminate opportunities for athletes that don't fit a certain profile. What a shame... #BigStepBackwards
