It has been a tremendous honor to serve our community. I'm grateful to have had the love and support of my family and friends. While I had hoped for a different outcome, I'm proud of my time and my votes in the Missouri Legislature. Thank you again for the opportunity to serve.
Just a little over 24 hours and #Election2018 will finally be over. Remember that your vote tomorrow has an impact on those coming up that depend on you.
Back in August we worked together to stand up for our values and way of life, now tomorrow let’s finish the job!
You can count on me to canvass, rain or shine. There is too much at stake this election. We got a “hell yes” earlier today after asking a voter for his support.
Very happy to have earned the endorsement of both the Jefferson County Leader Newspapers and the Call Newspaper. The Leader helped put the importance of my stand against Right-To-Work (Prop A) in contrast to my opponent, which was rejected by 78% of the voters in our district.
I almost didn’t recognize myself in a recent attack ad. That’s the real me on the right. If you are like me, you’ve had enough of negative campaigns and mudslinging. Rather than attacking my opponent, I’m going to focus on doing whats best for my constituents. #TheRealMikeRevis
Pretto on endorsements: Senator @ScottSifton @Jake4StlCo@Dougbeck562 all the labor unions including @MOAFLCIO@teamsters688 @STLKCCRC Teachers, School Administrators, Law Enforcement and @MikeRevis97 (who is sitting right next to me)
Candidate Mike Walter in the neighboring 95th on the importance of properly funding schools in Missouri, “right now in this state we have 25 school districts that can’t afford to stay open 5 days a week and operate on a 4 day week.” #KeepKidsInClass#SouthCountyForum
Candidate in the neighboring 94th district, Jean Pretto, on supporting raising the minimum wage, “in this day in age no American should have to be referred to as ‘the working poor.’” Amen to that Jean!
While knocking doors, a lot of people expressed concern over cars running the stop light at 13th Street and 141. I shared their concerns to MODoT and lights will be installed to warn of signal changes. This is one reason I encourage everyone to share concerns at their door.
