I came from big commodity, rigid trading world of the CME but absolutely fell in love with BTC in 2011. Loved the concept but was concerned about the exchange side of things. The construct was beautiful, the idea resonated, but I always questioned storage and the off rails. Sure enough Mt Gox happened. Since that moment, like it or not to the maxies, I have a mix of ownership - wallet, ETFs, hell I even have some on PayPal by circumstance. It's not a vote, it's just risk management. Bitcoin has become my reason for being, but I understand it's still evolving. And 99% of the time I speak to normies about a wallet their eyes glaze over. This is a process, Bitcoin will win, but for general context to the group.
@scottmelker Not necessarily though you make a good point, bring some experiences global ag guys on your podcast who are also bitcoiners and we will happily have a broad spectrum conversation.
@BretWeinstein I will forever credit you for the use of the phrase "messenger RNA gene therapy" vs a vaccine. As a skeptic and someone who worked in RNA I should have known better how to have these debates. The use of that phrase stopped the credentialed class above me in their tracks.
Still think if there's a sovereign wild card for bitcoin it's Japan. Melting ice cube yen liquidity everywhere and a natural state of deflation with a decreasing population.
Prior to the depths of monetary inflation we find ourselves today, this mediocre shoe salesman could afford a house in suburban Chicago, a few beater cars, go on an occasional vacation, and raise two children.
Regardless of this specific point one of the best comments you have ever made multiple times in various podcasts is when you have said US inability to impose their military will in Iran could be very good for us as a country. Couldn't agree more.
I have long believed that the longer the war goes on and the more the oil is cut off from the Gulf the better off the Iranians are.

Lost my dad a month ago. One of the better moments in the recent past was getting a Cameo from @RicFlairNatrBoy. It not only was a great video by him, Ric absolutely nailed it, but also memorialized my hometown of Hutchinson Kansas. Woooo!

@zerohedge All for this. Grow your own stuff to the degree you can. If you don't have much space, figure a bit of it out. You will feel better, its spiritually rewarding, get out on the sun, sweat and get a little dirty.
@CrimeWatchMpls I'm waiting for Walz, Ellison, Klobuchar, and and ocean of woke white women and their proxies to have a press conference on gun control in red t-shirts from the park tomorrow.
