@MishaWines97 What about doing licensed reprints every 5 years for a iconic player/card. For ex, Topps could remake 2018 Ohtani 700 with him in a Dodger's jersey with a gazillion parallels. That would draw interest and allow people who missed out on his rookie cards to get a nice substitute.
@limefatcat@WatchTheBreaks I can't remember what Shohei was doing in 2022. 2023/2024 is when his movement towards the GOAT trajectory became undeniable.
Cleaning up my desks post-sale and it’s crazy how you can trip and fall and have new WoSo collections out of nowhere. We’re all trying to find the guy who did this!
@fcbtommy123 He's in a large city. Freddy is experiencing rural America. Woods, mountains, lakes, tubing on a river, Waffle House. Europeans in cities is pretty normal. @Fiago will head to KC next and get a taste along the way. Maybe some BBQ stand.
Say you got a job at a major trading card company and you’re in charge of building the products. What changes do you make, how do you make them, and how do you build a product that makes more money than ever?
I will pick apart any ideas that I know are not feasible.
@1saacson@Jylesss I collect sports, but I can admit that obsession with rarity and GOATs has made the majority of sports cards worthless. Pokemon doesn't have that problem!
