@VirginAtlantic Can I ask for help? I want to book two reward flights, but the return flight hasn't been released yet. Is there any way I can book the outbound flight and then book the return flight when they are released without having to pay two lots of increased surcharges?

@VirginAtlantic Yes I understand that but the cost is higher by booking two individual flights, rather than booking them at the same time, but I was told this wouldn't be the case, by Jane in the previous messages as the charges would be recalculated, so how are they recalculated?

@VirginAtlantic Hi Jane, thank you, as I'm paying by points, there will be a carrier surcharge applied. If I was to book both flights at the same time the charge would be £1,300 if booked separately the charge would be nearly £1,600 or does it get recalculated when adding the return flight?

Hi @VirginAtlantic, tech question, I follow G-VCRU on flightradar as we flew on it to the US when we got married and have noticed that when flying over the Atlantic it's cruise altitude is limited to 28,000 but over land it's 33,000 and above, any reason why? Thank you :)
