@dufresal Anything that would have been scanned prior to the crash would have been sent out but drivers couldn’t scan packages as of last Wednesday... we got several returns earlier today and a pickup of 2 skids tonight.

@mbiest @Power_CPA I'm sorry, I assumed that when they left a notice it was similar to Canada Post with a time and address where your package is being held. I work the shipping side. I'm asking if there's an alternative way for people to find out where their local Smartspots are.

#Canpar. For those of you asking about Canpar, their trucks are still making deliveries and pickups but their website and network are down. I’ve heard from our rep that they’re working on the problem.

@dufresal @micheleacosta91 Loomis and Canpar rely on the same network - they're basically the same company. Loomis is primarily out west and Canpar is east. They use the same depots and handover packages depending on location and availability.

@mbiest We’ve had 2 Loomis and 1 Canpar driver for pickups and deliveries today but even their network scanners for packages are down.

I can only pass on how things normally work but between COVID and the outage as of yesterday this may not be accurate. If it is a residential delivery they will make 1 attempt to deliver to your home. If you are not home it will be held at a Smartspot for pick-up.
