NASCAR's Jusan Hamilton, one of the primary schedule architects, is an Ithaca, N.Y. native (nearby Watkins Glen is his home track). He said from his experience, "it typically feels like summer in May, so I don't see a huge risk in having the race that time of year." He also said the data they looked at shows weather possibly in the low 70s and chance of rain lower than August. "The weather for camping should be great, and I think we'll be able to put on a really good show that time of year," he said.
According to a filing today, Kyle Busch and Pacific Life Insurance (and all parties) have agreed to a settlement in Busch's lawsuit. They are in the process of documenting and finalizing their settlement papers. @NASCARONFOX
“I was scared to say this back in the day, but it’s true — the Chili Bowl is bigger than Daytona. You’ve got 400 guys to beat, not 40. You can’t make mistakes. I never won the Daytona 500, but winning the Chili Bowl meant more to me than winning Daytona ever would.”

I don’t know what’s funnier. Weaber Valley’s shitposts, or the people having a stroke because they can’t understand that grandma getting shot at point blank range with a t shirt cannon is an AI video. we’re doomed, might as well laugh at it.
